Armed Robber Steals High End Bike From Shop
The employees at the Veloce Velo bike shop in the Seattle suburb of Issaquah, Washington are a bit on edge after a man came into the shop in the middle of the day, showed a gun, and walked out with a Pinarello Dogma, a pro level racing bike estimated to be as much as $11,000.
“He was kind of like, I’m taking this, showed me the gun, and (said), ‘If you don’t want to get hurt, let me go.’”
The stolen bicycle is a Pinarello Dogma - an Italian carbon-fiber racing bike with a lot of high-end components on it that’s worth thousands and thousands of dollars. There are only a few hundred in the world.
“We don’t think it’s going to be re-sold locally - it’s a very unique bike,” the bike shop owner said.
The shop owner told the Seattle P-I that the robbers had been in the shop the day before asking questions. Below is a photo of a Pinarello Dogma.
